Project Background
The environment surrounding agriculture around the world differs depending on the situation in each country. While countries with vast farmlands and abundant water are promoting efforts to improve operational efficiency and maximize profits by making full use of AI and IoT, there are countries that lack such resources and are forced to rely on exports from other countries.
Amidst this situation, there are countries that have an abundance of resources, yet the number of people engaged in agriculture is decreasing year by year. One such country is Japan. Japan's agriculture industry is facing challenges such as an aging and shrinking population, and if this trend continues, agriculture as an industry will continue to decline and the country will also decline. Japan consistently ranks high on the list of countries and regions that people would like to travel to overseas, and its unique culture, food, and landscape attract much attention from around the world. One of the things that underlies these wonderful assets is "agricultureβ. Japanese agriculture not only supplies food but is also an important element in shaping the beautiful landscape and culture unique to Japan.
This project aims to build a sustainable agriculture-centered economy using cryptocurrency and to allow people around the world to experience the wonderful and "new agriculture" of Japan. Specifically, the project aims to increase producers' income by building a platform that directly connects producers and consumers in Japanese agriculture, and by creating a system that turns the logistics of agricultural products within the region. We will also promote Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiatives to increase the number of local stakeholders. Ultimately, the project aims to attract not only domestic tourists but also foreign tourists by constructing a place where restaurants using fresh agricultural products, local specialties, and experiences unique to the area can be offered. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from this project will be used to support children, who will form the future nucleus of building a sustainable agriculture-centered economy.
